David started off his career by simply writing a blog about his recipes for his healthy salads that he made whilst eating lunch at his desk in the office. This turned into an international book called Salad Love which then led him to open Pride Kitchen cafe in Covent Garden serving plant powered lunches.


David is now head chef & co-owner of Hackneys dynamic Plant Hub, a restaurant and culinary academy who’s aim is to inspire passion for plants through building a community where people can learn from the most inspiring chefs and foodies to empower the nation, with the knowledge to make and enjoy more plant based food.
